Back to School

Even if you don’t have children, be aware that roads and public transport will be busier and please avoid travelling at school drop off/pick up times if you can, so that we can safely get kids back into the classroom on time.

If you have children, the official Government advice is to walk or cycle if the journey is less than 2 miles.

Always remember to check the proposed roadworks schedule – some due this week in Haydons Road: https://www.merton.gov.uk/streets-parking-transport/roadworks/current-roadworks-and-traffic-disruptions

And remember that throughout September, the “School Streets” programme is being expanded – non-residents, including parents or carers dropping off, will not be allowed to drive outside 26 further schools: https://www.merton.gov.uk/streets-parking-transport/traffic-management/school-streets-programme
