Residents in the Wandle, Haydons Road, and Colliers Wood areas – get ready to declutter! Merton Council’s popular pop-up tip is coming to your neighbourhood this Sunday, 7 September, from 10am to 2pm, at Chaucer Way, SW19 1UH, right next to Wandle Meadow Nature Park.
As part of Labour-run Merton Council’s expanded pop-up tip programme, every part of the borough now gets four visits a year, making it easier than ever for residents to get rid of bulky waste legally and conveniently—while helping fight back against fly tipping and illegal dumping.
✅ What You Can Bring:

Recycling: Paper, card, drinks cans, glass, soft plastics

Small electronics: Hairdryers, toasters, household batteries

Bulky items: Furniture and white goods
❌ What You Can’t Bring:

Hazardous waste: Tyres, paint, needles, gas bottles, asbestos
