It is important that every member of the Labour Party is able to engage with its democratic structures.
Last year, Wimbledon CLP voted to move from a delegate structure (where only Branch Delegates could vote) to All Member Meetings (where every member in attendance can vote). This was preferred as it enabled everyone to participate and is in line with the Labour Party’s democracy review.
It’s not enough to ensure every member can vote - we also need to make sure members want to attend meetings and that we understand any practical barriers that prevent them from doing so.
This survey is a starting point for learning more about our members and their engagement with the CLP’s activities.
